Just a few pics of the socks I’m currently working on…

Pattern : Hermione’s Everyday Sock Pattern by Erica Lueder

Yarn : Countess Ablaze Lady Persephone Sock in Afternoon Tea

Needles : Knitpro Zing DPN’s, 2.25mm

… and these have just been started.

Pattern : So far I’m making up this sock as I go. These are for my partner so I’ve cast on 72 stitches for the cuff and worked a 2×2 rib for 15 rows. I’m working the leg vanilla.

Yarn : Lana Grossa Meilenweit 100 in 1103

Needles : Knitpro Zing DPN’s, 2.25mm

I’m really enjoying working on the Hermione socks and the Countess Ablaze wool is so lovely, I think I’ll be knitting this pattern many times. I’m enjoying having more than one pair on the go and it’s a technique I’m keen to keep up!

Do you have a favourite sock pattern?

  1. I am always going back to Susan B. Anderson’s “How I Make My Socks”–they just work! For me and for everyone I know 🙂 plus, they are endlessly modifiable with patterns, texture, foot size . . . Your socks are coming out beautifully!
